Well today is day 5 and the weekend is upon me. I am hoping I can keep up my good process through out the busy weekend. I did cheat some today, but it was my birthday and everyone deserves pizza and cake on their birthday. I had a very small slice of cake, 1 1/2 slices of pizza and 1 breadstick. and I have to say that is extreme restraint on my part. I also ate 1 cup of cucumbers with my food. I stuck to the meal plan for the rest of the meals today, even though I really really really wanted pizza for dinner. I even went so far as taking the pizza out of the fridge and almost taking the pizza out of the box. However I put it back in the box, then back in the fridge, got out the mushrooms and sauteed them up to have with my rice and turkey. :) Yahhhh for me. I also did the 3 mile walk tonight in place of the 2 mile walk and boy it was tough but I feel great.

Day 4 of the 6 week body makeover.
Well today is Day 4 and I am still going strong. :) I went to the grocery store to pick up some more veggies and I had to fight the temptation of cookies, cakes, candy bars and chocolate sauce. Hmmmm...maybe I should start avoiding "c" foods. I got on the scale this morning and I didn't have any weight loss. I guess that is why I shouldn't get on the scale everyday. That did make me a little discouraged and I was really thinking of straying from the plan. But I held strong. I know that all this isn't going to happen in a day. I just need to work the plan and by the summer I will be looking good.

I just need to remember that I am now 1 day closer to the person I want to be.

Day 3 of the 6 Week Body Makeover
Well today was day 3 on my journey to a healthy happy self. I got on the scale this morning because I just couldn't help myself. I know I shouldn't but I am a scale-a-holic. I was down 5 pounds as of this morning. I couldn't believe it. That just leaves me 30 pounds till my ultimate goal weight and only 18 lbs to my vacation goal weight. Woo Hoo less than 20 lbs to lose before vacation. I also had something else amazing happen last night. I am a notorious "midnight" snacker. I have gotten up and binged at night for as long as I can remember. I wake up around 2 or 3 and I just can't control what I eat. It is always something bad for me and it is always too much food at one time. Well last night I fell asleep at about 11:30 and I slept till 6:30 this morning. I couldn't believe it. I can't remember the last time I slept through an entire night without getting up and at least roaming around the kitchen. I am hoping this is a sign of the diet. I hope since I am eating right for my body type these "midnight" cravings will be gone for good.

Went for a 30 minute walk at the park and then chased Gracie around for another 30 minute

Day 2 of the 6 Week Body Makeover
Well today is day 2 and I am still doing really well. I am feeling hungry sooner so I have to figure that out. I also did my Cardio and my sculpting exercises and day 2 is much harder than day 1 with the scuplting. I sure am glad I get a day off before I have to do sculpting exercises again. :) I am keeping my fingers crossed and my motivation high that this is going to work. I just can't wait until Monday to see if I have lost any weight. I just need to remind myself to be very careful over the weekend since we will be celebrating my birthday. I don't want to sidetrack myself on the first week. I really can't wait to show Allen that I can do this for myself, and for our family.

New Efforts
Well today is the first day of my new weight loss effort. I am starting the 6 Week Body Makeover and I am hoping that I can stick to it and have success.
Today I have:
Drunk at least 100
Followed my meal plan
Done My Cardio
Done My Strength Exercises
Hopefully I can keep this up for the next 6 weeks.
